Le champion du monde WBA, WBO et IBF des poids lourds, Anthony Joshua a été nettement battu aux points et à l’unanimité des juges (117-117, 116-112, 115-113) chez lui, à Londres, par l’Ukrainien Oleksandr Usyk, samedi.
Monté en 2018 des lourds-légers où il était champion du monde unifié, Usyk a fait parler sa technique et sa vivacité supérieure face à un Joshua qui n’a jamais trouvé vraiment son rythme dans ce combat et voit s’envoler son rêve de combat d’unification 100% britannique contre Tyson Fury, le champion WBC.
